Last updated: 22 October 2026

In short: Tramo has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your trips, profile and stats are stored only on your iPhone. Tramo Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat with an anonymous identifier. We never sell or share your data for advertising.

Who we are

Tramo is a navigation app developed by Iván Sevilla. For any privacy question, contact us from the support page.

What data Tramo uses and why

DataPurposeWhere it stays
LocationGuiding you and warning you about speed cameras, average speed zones, incidents and speed limits.Used on your iPhone. To fetch what’s on your way, the area or route is sent, without identifying you, to the services listed below.
Trips, history, level, challenges and statsYour history, “Your map” and “Your year”.Only on your iPhone. Deleted when you delete the app.
Profile (vehicle, fuel, emissions sticker, preferences)Personalising alerts, trip cost and low emission zones.Only on your iPhone.
Reports you send to the communityLetting other drivers see, for example, a police check or a crash. In Apple’s public iCloud database (CloudKit): report type, position and time, without your name or email. They expire on their own. Police checks are shown to others as an approximate area.
Tramo Pro purchasesUnlocking paid features and knowing whether your subscription is still active (also on another iPhone or with Family Sharing).Charged by Apple with your account; Tramo never sees or stores your payment details. To check subscriptions we use RevenueCat (see below), which receives an anonymous identifier created when you install the app and your Tramo Pro purchase history (product, date, price, currency and store country), without your name, email or Apple ID.

External services the app queries

To show what’s on your way, Tramo requests public data from these services sending only an area or a route, never your name or an identifier:

Traffic cameras (Tramo Pro): images come from public bodies (DGT and Madrid City Council in Spain; Caltrans, Transport for London, DriveBC, City of Toronto, Fintraffic, Luxembourg’s CITA, Hong Kong’s Transport Department and Singapore’s LTA). The app downloads the full camera list and picks the ones near you on your iPhone: your location is not sent to these sources, only the photos you view are requested.

Each has its own privacy policy; like any internet service, they can see the IP address a request comes from.

Subscription provider: RevenueCat

RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) checks Tramo Pro purchases on our behalf and gives us aggregated subscription statistics. It acts as a data processor: it only handles the app’s anonymous identifier, your Tramo Pro purchase history, iOS and app version, language and store country, and the request’s IP address. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. More: revenuecat.com/privacy.

What Tramo does not do

Permissions

Location: “While Using the App”. With a route in progress, iOS lets Tramo keep guiding you with the screen off or from CarPlay (you’ll see the blue indicator). Notifications: only if you schedule a departure time. You can change permissions anytime in the iPhone’s Settings.

Your rights

As your data lives on your iPhone, you can delete it anytime by deleting the app. Community reports you send expire shortly; for anything else (access, rectification or erasure under the GDPR), contact us from the support page. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Tramo is an app for drivers and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
